All of you may have heard that, Bangladesh government take a step to prevent the unwanted circumstance through SIM. However, if you're a user of Grameenphone, banglalink, airtel, teletalk, robi etc, you need to re-register your SIM again.
Mobile operator make it easier for their customer one can able to register their SIM through SMS or manually. The most easy way to register SIM through SMS. You can easily do that in minute.
Re-Registration Through SMSAll the mobile operator offers their user to register their sim by SMS. Doesn't matter which operator you're used GP, Robi, Airtel, Banglalink, teletalk. The SIM registration is same of rest of the operators.
Go to Message option write NID number, date of birth, full name and send it to 1600 (put all information according to your NID)
Example : xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, 01/02/1992, Sayed Bakhi send 1600
For Citycell: U XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, Date of birth, full name send it 1600
Example : U XXXXXXXXXXXX, 01/02/192, Sayed Balkhi send it to 1600
After sending the SMS successfully, you will get this message from your operator
Your request has been accepted, thank you for the information
Registration Through OnlineSIM registration through online is only available for the banglalink user. If you're a user of them, go this link banglalink update information and update your information and complete the registration process.
How To Register SIM manuallyYou can also able to register your SIM manually. Go to your nearest customer care center with NID card and passport size photo and complete the procedure.
